Strengthening the HIV M&E System in Nigeria
The National Agency for the Control of HIV/AIDS (NACA) in Nigeria, conducted an assessment of the national HIV/AIDS M&E system to prepare to support the next National Strategic Framework. The 12 Components National Assessment Tool, which is based on the Organizing Framework for a Functional National HIV M&E System, was applied.

Leadership Development Program Yields Results in Cote d'Ivoire
As a result of a Leadership Development Program (LDP) with four ministries and the collaborative spirit engendered by this process, the country has made a giant leap forward. The development and publication of a compendium of harmonized and validated HIV/AIDS indicators accomplished the first of several previously illusive goals and has moved the country toward having a high quality, timely and accessible national HIV/AIDS database used for the response against HIV/AIDS.
