Session V – Building Information Systems for Community Programs
Community health programs vary widely from one context to another, however this session will focus on HIV community programs in Africa that rely heavily on civil society organizations and community volunteers. The session will begin with a community health information simulation activity.

Beginning with an operational definition of Outcome Monitoring, this session will present the position of Outcome Monitoring in the M&E landscape, current references to the practice of Outcome Monitoring and an inventory of Outcome Monitoring approaches as a lead-in to a more detailed exploration of two examples of Outcome Monitoring under MEASURE Evaluation.
