Malaria Monitoring and Evaluation Capacity-Building Associate

The Malaria M&E Capacity-Building Associate will assist the project team in the management, coordination, and technical approach of specific activities.

The International Health and Development Division of ICF International seeks an associate for malaria to support ICF’s portfolio of infectious disease-related Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) activities under MEASURE Evaluation, USAID’s technical assistance project for global health programs. The portfolio focuses primarily on the monitoring and evaluation of malaria programs, but includes work in HIV/AIDS and other infectious diseases. The position is based in Rockville, Maryland with up to 20% international travel.

The incumbent will assist the project team in the management, coordination, and technical approach of specific activities. There will be an initial primary focus on capacity building of malaria programs in endemic countries and countries transitioning from control to pre-elimination phases. Substantial time will be dedicated to curriculum development, implementation, and coordination of regional, national, and online courses. Overall responsibilities will include coordination and communication to partners, technical support, and reporting.
