Evaluation of the Routine Health Information System in Peru

The routine health information system is responsible for generating data of vital importance to the decision-making processes for the administration of services, and thus to the public health of the country. Evaluations are a useful way to ensure the ongoing quality and effectiveness of an existing health system. However, shortcomings in previous evaluations of the routine health information system in Peru have been identified. The 2018 version of the PRISM Series, updated and with new modules (Toolkit, User’s Kit, and Training Kit) is available here: https://www.measureevaluation.org/prism
