Definition: Percent of maternal deaths occurring in the facility that were audited.
Numerator: Number of maternal deaths occurring in a health facility that were reviewed.
Denominator: Total number of maternal death in facilities.
Disaggregation: Community deaths, facilities, major administrative regions.

Purpose: This indicator contributes to the measurement of facility management performance, such as the existence and use of administrative systems to maintain and improve health service provision.
