Definition:

Percent of health service providers at primary health-care facilities who received personal supervision in the past six months

Numerator:

Number of health service providers at primary health-care facilities who received personal supervision in the past six months

Denominator:

Total number of health service providers

Data Requirements:

See also: Percent of employees who have completed their annual performance reviews with their supervisors for the last performance period

Data Sources:

Ideally assessed through a sample survey of health workers; also can be assessed via facility administrative records.

Purpose:

This indicator contributes to the measurement of facility management performance, such as the existence and use of administrative systems to maintain and improve health service provision.
