MEASURE GIS Working Group Meeting, June 2012

Use of geospatial tools and data in the international development sector has increased as the value of the technology has become apparent. As innovations and successes become more numerous it can be challenging to stay abreast of the latest achievements. The June 2012 MEASURE GIS Working Group Meeting will highlight recent innovations and present future directions of the technology. 

Objectives for Meeting 

  1. Present examples of successful implementations of geospatial tools, data and methods. 
  2. Present innovative examples of state of the art with geospatial tools and techniques. 
  3. Produce a geospatial innovations one-sheeter that can provide examples of high-impact practices.

The MEASURE GIS Working Group Meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at JSI, 1616 N. Fort Meyer Drive, in Rosslyn, VA. The meeting will take place in the Three Summits Conference Room at JSI. Check-in is at 8:45am and the meeting will end at 4:30pm. Lunch, continental breakfast, and coffee breaks will be provided.
