6th IAS Conference on HIV, Pathogenesis, Treatment and Prevention

A member of the MEASURE Evaluation team's abstract was accepted for publication on the Web site of the world’s largest open scientific conference on HIV/AIDS – the 6th IAS Conference on HIV Pathogenesis, Treatment and Prevention to be held in Rome Italy in July 2011.

The 6th International AIDS Society Conference on HIV Pathogenesis, Treatment and Prevention (IAS 2011) is the world's largest open scientific conference on HIV/AIDS. This year, the conference is to be held in Rome, Italy July 17-20.

MEASURE Evaluation's Nigeria country team member, Adedayo Adeymi's abstract titled "HIV Counseling and Testing as a strategy for HIV Prevention: Evidence from Nigeria" has been accepted for publication on the conference Web site and will also be published on the abstract CD-ROM. 

The Conference attracts about 5,000 delegates from all over the world. It is a unique opportunity for the world’s leading scientists, clinicians, public health experts and community leaders to examine the latest developments in HIV-related research, and to explore how scientific advances can – in very practical ways – inform the global response to HIV/AIDS.
