M&E of Public Health Programs Workshop

The course is designed for national and sub-national M&E officers and their counterpart advisers and assistants who are involved in the implementation of public health programs, especially those involved in HIV and AIDS, TB, Malaria, Child Health, Reproductive Health and social sector programmes in Nigeria.

The Department of Community Medicine at Ahmadu Bello University in collaboration with MEASURE Evaluation will offer a national workshop on “Monitoring and Evaluation of Public Health Programs" in Nigeria.

This announcement is intended to serve as a means of informing you of the availability of the program, but also to ask for referrals of applicants. We would appreciate you forwarding this announcement to potential applicants. While this is a national workshop, applicants outside of Nigeria are welcome to apply.

The course is designed for national and sub-national M&E officers and their counterpart advisers and assistants who are involved in the implementation of public health programs, especially those involved in HIV and AIDS, TB, Malaria, Child Health, Reproductive Health and social sector programmes. Computer literacy and experience with data systems will be an advantage. Participants are expected to be proficient in English language as it is the language of instruction.

The workshop fee is N240,000 or $1,500. The fees include workshop materials, field trip, transport to and from from hotel to training venue, tea breaks and lunch during weekdays. It does not include travel costs and accommodation.  

A limited number of MEASURE Evaluation fellowships are available to qualified students from Nigeria.
