On the Road to Dakar: Moving the Family Planning Agenda Forward

MEASURE Evaluation M&E expert, Nicole Judice to serve as guest expert during first week of online discussion series on family planning.

Nicole Judice, MEASURE Evaluation M&E Specialist, will serve as a guest expert during the first week of an online discussion series focused on family planning. The discussion series is a global conversation that will lay the groundwork on key topics to be highlighted at the International Conference on Family Planning to be held in Dakar, Senegal November 2011. 

Coordinated by the Knowledge for Health (K4Health) Project and the Gates Institute with support from the IBP Consortium and WHO/RHR, three online discussions will be held separately in English and French: 

Progress at the national level

Jul 11-15 – English (Since the 2009 FP Conference in Uganda) 

Jul 25-29 – French (To overcome barriers of unmet in Francophone Africa)

Rapidly growing youth populations and their implications for family planning and other health and development programs

Sept 12-16 – French

Sept 26-30 – English

National strategies and plans for contraceptive security and contraceptive financing models

Oct 10-14 – English

Oct 24-28 – French
