Join MEASURE Evaluation’s Creating Enabling Environments for Monitoring and Evaluation (CEEME) Community of Practice on July 25 at 8:30AM EDT for a webinar on "Lessons from the Field: How to Address Implementation Challenges of Organizational Strengthening Projects". Webinar discussion will focus on how to prevent or mitigate the impact of some commonly encountered implementation challenges. Registration is open online.

Billions of dollars have been invested in strengthening the capacity of HIV and AIDS service delivery organizations around the world. Some of these organizations have been successful at designing action plans, defining key indicators and monitoring progress, but in most cases, implementation lags and limits their ability to create the necessary organizational changes to achieve and sustain proposed results.

During this one and a half hour webinar we will provide an overview of the project development cycle frequently used in organizational strengthening efforts, and use a case study to highlight some typical implementation challenges that program managers, M&E specialists and other implementers face, and identify some potential solutions and ways to prevent them in the future. Webinar participants are asked to read the case study in advance and bring any questions that they may have to the webinar session.

Ummuro Adano, Deputy Director and Senior Technical Advisor for Capacity Building, AIDSTAR-Two/MSH, will be the main presenter and Yadira Almodovar-Diaz, Porfolio Manager, AIDSTAR-Two/MSH, will serve as the moderator.

Register to attend the webinar.
