Learn about the health informatics for low- and middle-income countries short course for health information system professionals.

Health Informatics for Low- and Middle-Income Countries—a short course for health information system (HIS) professionals—created in collaboration with three universities in Africa and one in India and pilot tested at Kenyatta University, strengthens capacity to roll out digital health solutions to improve HIS efficiency and effectiveness while ensuring patient safety and confidentiality. A webinar introducing the course was attended by over 100 participants. Course components have been downloaded over 6,400 times since October 2018 and will be integrated into the course of study on health informatics at the Public Health Foundation of India, a member of the Global Evaluation and Monitoring Network for Health (GEMNet-Health).
