Compendium of Indicators for Evaluating Reproductive Health Programs Abstract:

In June 2011 an updated version of this Compendium was released. Please refer to the online Family Planning and Reproductive Health Indicators Database.

This Compendium provides a comprehensive listing of widely used indicators for evaluating reproductive health programs in developing countries. Indicators are organized according to a revised version of the conceptual framework originally developed by MEASURE Evaluation. This framework maps the pathways through which programs achieve results, and it constitutes a logical framework for developing an evaluation plan with appropriate indicators. Many sections of this Compendium contain more detailed frameworks that explain the pathways for program effects specific to the topic area in question.
