Abstract:

This paper reviews information technology tools that have the potential to facilitate the collection, analysis or evaluation, and dissemination of data necessary for delivering high quality HIV/AIDS care in resource-poor settings. Some of these technologies are currently used in the health care field and have been field tested in resource poor settings. Others need further investigation.
