M&E of Constructive Men's Engagement (CME) Programs

This module is designed and intended to be used as a one and a-half day (12.5 hour) training session that is delivered following the two-day training session on Constructive Men's Engagement in RH: For Themselves, Their Partners, and Their Communities. It is intended to be a basic introduction to monitoring and evaluation, and should be merely a first step in encouraging workshop participants to build their individual and organizational capacity to monitor and evaluate their programs.

By the end of this training module, participants will be able to:

  • differentiate between monitoring and evaluation;

  • write goals and smart objectives for CME programs;

  • design a logic model for a CME program or strategy;

  • identify criteria for indicator selection; and

  • identify information to consider when choosing an evaluation design for CME strategies.
