Join MEASURE Evaluation on March 14, 2018 at 7:30am EDT for a 1.5-hour webinar presentation and discussion on strengthening the collection, analysis and use of OVC_HIVSTAT data.

OVC_HIVSTAT data was requested by the United States President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) for the first time in FY2017 (Quarter 2) with the aim of strengthening the role of orphans and vulnerable children (OVC) programs to identify children at risk for HIV infection, ensure they are tested, and link them to care and treatment. Focusing on the monitoring and evaluation (M&E) systems, MEASURE Evaluation visited OVC implementing partners in South Africa, Côte d’Ivoire, and Zimbabwe to gain insight into current approaches to HIV risk assessment. Given the current emphasis on rationalizing HIV testing, all implementing programs should be assessing OVC’s HIV risk to focus resources on those determined to be most at risk for HIV infection.

Through this webinar, MEASURE Evaluation will explain the HIV Risk Assessment cascade and how it is related to OVC_HIVSTAT disaggregates. We will also provide guidance for how OVC_HIVSTAT data can be analyzed to enhance program outcomes. Information on how to request M&E support from MEASURE Evaluation to strengthen collection, analysis, and use of OVC_HIVSTAT data will be available.

On March 14, join the webinar at https://universityofnc.adobeconnect.com/r45ame4497dz/

There is a maximum of 100 participants, but the recording will be available here soon after the webinar.
